Even in the autumn the arboretum was lovely and there was much to enjoy. The Seward Johnson exhibit was what drew us in today and the pieces were very much enjoyed. Having been here to see that I would be very inclined to return to see summer blooms. The trails are well groomed and well marked.
We wanted to see the Seward Johnson sculptures as well as enjoy the plants and trees there. We enjoyed following the trail and discovering how each sculpture fits in with its environment. For example the gardener is almost kneeling amid zinnias and other flowering plants.
Definitely check out the sculpture display.
The arboretum is a lovely and peaceful place to relax and enjoy nature.
Truly magical place to visit in late summer / early fall. Variety of landscapes from gardens to arboretum to woodland trails to meadows. I prefer to combine hiking the arboretum with Bamboo Brook property trails via Patriots Path.
Absolutely love this place! Tons of beautiful flowers, trees, and walkable paths. We had our engagement photos done here a few years back and with this beautiful weather the past few days, decided to go back to take a walk. So glad we did! You could spend hours here just taking everything in. Also love that there’s a restroom, that’s a huge bonus!
What a beautiful experience. This is a must see place to go. And it started with being greeted by the friendliest gardener, Jeremy.
Lovely grounds to stroll around. There are very nicely manicured garden sections and wide meadows with lots of blooms as of July 2023.
Has clean restrooms and nice sized parking lot.
First time visited with my wife and daughter, it's ok for one day picnic, restroom prblm, walking pathways are not good enough
Most wonderful arboretum I’ve been! Purely magical 🤍 …
